      • An interlock device could be required to regain license and offender needs to wait 45 days to regain driving privileges

      Third DUI Offense

      • Jail sentence of 90 days to one year (180 days to 3 years if BAC > .15 percent)
      • Fines up to $1,000
      • Interlock device could be required to regain driving privileges

      What Happens if I Fail to Complete or Refuse to Submit to a DUI Test in Nebraska?

      There are still consequences for refusing to take a blood alcohol content test in Nebraska, and they are similar to those for a conviction. If a suspect refuses to test, they will have their license revoked for 180 days. This revocation could increase to 15 years if the offender has prior offenses.
